Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 12, 2026 · Effective immediately

🛡️

Short version: We process your images to generate AI results, then immediately delete them. We store nothing personal. Your results live only in your browser. We have no advertising, no tracking, no accounts.

1. Introduction

VisionToPrompt ("we", "our", "us") operates the website https://visiontoprompt.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service. Please read this policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of the Service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect minimal information necessary to provide our Service:

Automatically collected data:

  • Browser type and version
  • Pages visited and time spent
  • Referring URLs
  • General geographic location (country/region level only)
  • Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)

  • Data you provide:

  • Images you upload for analysis (immediately deleted after processing — see Section 4)
  • Generated text results (stored in your browser's localStorage only)

  • We do NOT collect:

  • Your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information
  • Account credentials (no accounts required)
  • Payment information
  • Precise location data
  • 3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve our Service
  • Monitor usage patterns to enhance performance
  • Detect and prevent technical issues or abuse
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Analyze aggregate usage statistics (never individual tracking)

  • We do NOT use your information for:

  • Targeted advertising or marketing
  • Selling to third parties
  • Building user profiles
  • Any automated profiling or decision-making
  • 4. Image Processing & Data Retention

Your privacy is our highest priority regarding image data:

Image uploads: All images you upload are transmitted securely over HTTPS, processed by our AI system, and permanently deleted immediately after analysis is complete. We do not store, retain, back up, or share your images.

Processing time: Image processing typically completes within 2–5 seconds. After processing, your image is irreversibly deleted from our servers.

Text results: The generated text results (prompts, descriptions, OCR output) are stored only in your browser's localStorage on your device. We do not store your results on our servers. You can delete this data at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage.

Session identifiers: A randomly generated session ID (e.g., "vp-abc123") is stored in your browser's localStorage to associate your usage history locally. This ID is not linked to any personal information.

    5. Cookies & Local Storage

    We use minimal browser storage:

    localStorage (essential):

  • `vp-theme`: Your preferred color theme (dark/light)
  • `vp-uid`: A random session identifier for local history
  • `vp-jobs`: Your generation history (stored locally on your device only)

  • Analytics: We use privacy-respecting, aggregate-level analytics only, which does not use cookies or track individual users.

    6. Advertising & Third-Party Services

Google AdSense: We may display advertisements through Google AdSense. Google uses cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website or other websites. Google's advertising partners may also use cookies to serve ads based on your browsing activity.

    Data collected by Google:

  • Device information and identifiers
  • IP address and location data
  • Browsing activity on our site and other sites
  • Ad interactions and conversions

  • Your advertising choices:

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting:

  • Network Advertising Initiative opt-out: https://optout.networkadvertising.org
  • Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out: https://www.aboutads.info/choices

  • Third-party privacy policies:

Google's use of advertising cookies is governed by their own Privacy Policy. We recommend reviewing:

  • Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
  • Google Ad Settings: https://www.google.com/settings/ads

  • We do not control and are not responsible for third-party advertisers' data practices.

    7. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your information to third parties. We share data only in these limited circumstances:

Service providers: We use third-party infrastructure providers for hosting, content delivery, and edge computing. These providers process requests on our behalf under strict data processing agreements.

AI processing: Image analysis is performed using AI models deployed on our infrastructure. Your images are processed in memory and never stored or shared.

Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.

    8. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

  • All data transmission is encrypted using TLS 1.3
  • Our infrastructure runs on a globally distributed edge network
  • Images are processed in isolated environments and immediately purged
  • No persistent storage of user images or personal data
  • Regular security audits and updates

  • Despite our best efforts, no internet transmission is 100% secure. We encourage you to use the Service only over secure, trusted networks.

    9. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.

  • Right to know what personal information is collected
  • Right to delete personal information
  • Right to opt-out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell data)
